HISTORY
With a desire to spread the taste of mouthwatering sweet varieties, the founder Late Shri Kantha Prasadji Garg traveled extensively all over India and finally established himself in the erstwhile Bangalore city. The first sweetmeat store was started in Malleswaram in the year 1951 under the mentorship of Shri Srinivas Murthy.

In 1971, Mr. Narendra Kumar Garg son of Late Sri Kantha Prasadji Garg joined the family business and renamed it as Asha Sweet Center. Mr. Narendra Kumar Garg is now considered a pioneer in the sweet manufacturing industry in Bangalore and clearly bridged the gap between customer requirements and manner in which the sweet are prepared to suit the requirements of the customer.
GOLDEN ERA
The period of Golden Era at Asha Sweet Center dates back to 1980’s and to this day flagship store at Malleswaram is a major landmark for all people with a sweet tooth. Vision started with one branch at 8th cross Malleswaram is now established as a multi-chain brand in this category.
