Vaibhav Mandrekar finished his Bachelor of Engineering and started his career in the aerospace industry as a design engineer. In 2013 he discovered his fascination towards Photography which changed his perspective of looking at people, places and things.
An engineer by training, a designer by profession, and a photographer by aptitude, his style of photography melds the techniques of different media he has worked in with. The influence of the different media on his work is especially apparent in the composition and post-processing of his photographs. His play of colours and shapes in the photos he clicks talk deeply about his passion and love for the art. He hails from a historic city in Maharashtra called Kolhapur. Now based out of Bangalore and Pune, ready to travel any where acroos the world, Vaibhav is a self made photographer. Vaibhav loves to bring romance into his work in terms of subjects as well as treatment, and so his major focus is portraiture and weddings to capture the fleeting, emotional, and fun moments in a wedding. Weddings are one of the most wonderful things to witness on Earth; people are so happy, every wedding has its own story while the place is filled with amazing energy and emotions! Weddings are beautiful!
Vaibhav loves all things new: people, technology, gadgets, and even food. His relentless pursuit of new experiences motivates him to try different things and makes him someone who is constantly updating his skills. Photography to him is an art; its painting with lights and more. It is about illuminating the dark places in human hearts and minds. He believes camera is a magic machine that can freeze moments into beautiful memories!
